I’ve put together a list of all of the tools I regularly use to support my path as an entrepreneur. If you have any questions on any of the below entrepreneur resources please leave a comment below. I’m happy to help you with any queries!
Planner & To-do Lists: I recommend The Passion Planner – a physical planner that will help you stay organized and productive. This particular planner is fantastic as it helps with short and long-term goal-setting and is very visual so you can see your week ahead.
Blog Themes: You will find incredibly chic and responsive WordPress Themes at Bluchic. My theme is made by Bluchic who design themes that clean, chic and highly customizable. Shop all discounted blog themes here.
Website and Blog Hosting: My favourite hosting platform, Bluehost is who I recommend for your domain and hosting needs. Bluehost offers a full suite service including URL purchase, hosting and simple WordPress installation.
For detailed instructions on how to setup Bluehost for blogging, you can view my step-by-step guide on how to starting a blog.
eCommerce Platform: I highly recommend you use Shopify. I migrated the Finding Rosie boutique to Shopify last year and couldn’t be happier! It’s an easy to use platform that will allow you to get an eCommerce shop open within hours.
Email Marketing: MailChimp is what I use for sending all of my email newsletters for Finding Rosie and for Rachael’s Journal. I find MailChimp easy to use, quicky to get a campaign out, easy to integrate with Shopify and WordPress. MailChimp is also free for users that have under 500 on their email lists, making this a great free service for those starting out. MailChimp also offers free automated emails once a user signs up to an email list, other providers charge for this.
Graphic Design Images and Banners for Marketing: There is a free to use website Canva for creating all of my images with text overlay, newsletter banners, image collages, blog graphics, logos, and Pinterest graphics.
Productivity App: The iPhone app Moment monitors how much time I spend on my phone each day. It’s helped me become more present in the moment which allows for more productivity and to focus on the task at hand. Having Moment on my phone has also triggered to think twice before reaching for my phone. Is it really necessary or am I about to go on a meaningless scroll?
Podcasts for Entrepreneurs: When I need to kick my butt into gear and hear some real talk, I put on a Gary Vee podcast. Gary does not take bullshit excuses, he says it how it is and has helped me get through many late nights working weekends to pursue my dreams. If I am seeking personal development as an entrepreneur topics, I listen to the Pursuit with Purpose podcast by Melyssa Griffin. Melyssa is an online entrepreneur who I have been following for a couple years now, she is the Pinterest guru and I love the way she interviews.
Books: For anyone with a side hustle, online business, I recommend you read the book – You are a Badass at Making Money. This book will change your relationship with money. I’ve even written a blog post on this book.
Hope you love my list of entrepreneur resources! These are all of my absolute go-to’s and I highly recommend. Check back again for additions to the list as I think of things!
